During his stay in Châteaulin, Jean Moulin links up with different artists such as Augustin Tuset, Lionel Floch and Giovanni Leonardi who are familiar with Quimper pottery.  He gets started himself, finding his inspiration in a 16th century kersantite sculpture, placed at the base of the calvary in front of the Église de Brasparts.  This village was in the area where he lived.  It was made at the HB pottery, and it was the only ceramic made by Jean Moulin.
