Tal Coat stays at Château Noir near Aix-en-Provence.  He produces a great number of drawings and paintings of the rocks in the area, focusing particularly on lines that form the faults and veins. He expresses his presence within the landscape and not what he sees.  He feels an affinity to the first men who produced rock paintings and showed their relationships to others in this way.
